SketchWave SnowFlake Demo

SWSnowFlake builds a procedural crystal around a center object (SWPoint or SWBug).

You can control:

• crystal style, arm count, and max radius
• static rotation angle plus animated spin speed
• fractal options: Koch crystal and recursive dendrite with recursion controls
• flake and border colors with alpha transparency
• center type and motion mode (still, random, Perlin, orbit)
• canvas background color and alpha

Style guide for teaching algorithms

• IterativeStellar Dendrite, Fern Dendrite, Plate Crystal, Needle Cluster
• RecursiveKoch Crystal, Recursive Dendrite
• Recursion controls: depth, branch scale, and branch angle (visible in Fractal settings)
• Classroom tip: keep recursion depth at 0-4 for smooth rendering on student devices

Quick controls: click open canvas space to hide/show grid and axes, drag a visible center marker to reposition the flake, use g for grid/axes toggle, l for center marker toggle, r for reset, and Shift+R for reset rotation/spin. Use Save Image to export the canvas.
