Why did this happen?
The server looked for the file you requested and couldn’t find it. A few common reasons:
- A typo in the URL — web server paths are case-sensitive on Linux (e.g.
MyPage.html≠mypage.html) - A link on another site that pointed to a page that was later moved or renamed
- A file that exists locally but was not uploaded to the live server yet
