National Treasure (2004)
A cool hack! Ben Gates (played by Nicholas Cage) seeks to clear his family name (and gain notariety) by 'borrowing' the Constitution of the United States (which, he says, hides a 'map' to a vast treasure). To break into the vault, he surreptitiously coats an historian's fingers (Abigail Chase, played by Diane Kruger) with a powder that glows under UV light.
After the Chase uses a keypad to enter the document vault, the residue powder from her fingers glows when Ben shines a UV light on it after she's gone.
By taking the set of glowing letters (AEFGLORVY), his associate, Riley Poole (played by Justin Bartha), uses a computer to find permutations of those letters. Being 'Cage-y' (wink) Ben uses a knowledge of the guard's interests to guess the correct permutation (anagram) that lets him in the vault. Awesome!
We hope to write an app soon that mimics the idea of taking a certain set of letters and finding all words that could come from that set.
