In the English language, some characters, like 'pbdq' are identical except for their orientation/reflection in space. This can make it difficult for some readers to 'see' their differences. At TNT we wondered if we could write an app to identify 'target letters' in a phrase and replace them with other members from that set.
Well, we did and the result is Conlexia (coined from a combination of 'confusing' and 'dyslexia.') You can choose the target character set and play with the transformations. It's not true encryption, since the random nature of the event makes it impossible to go backwards.
We were curious if there were any YouTube videos on this phenomenon, and we found a cool one giving pbdq attack strategies for kids. We love you, YouTube!
