Holy Style Swap, Batman!

Trading Style Sheets with JavaScript

Batman and Robin in the Batcave, circa 1965

Batman has his Batcave, and TTG (aka 'Computer Man') has his computer lab. (The 'Wall of Archived Technology' therein is shown in the background image above!)

TTG was a big fan of the campy Batman series. Whenever Robin would get excited, he'd often exclaim: "Holy...(whatever)...Batman!" and it was good for a laugh. If Robin could only have seen what we could do with CSS and JavaScript, he'd doubtless exclaim "Holy Sheet, Batman!"

We know, Robin, it's amazing!

Using our trusty Colorzilla Chrome Extension we sampled and adjusted colors from each of the 'Dynamic Duo's' costumes and created simple separate style sheets for them.

Switch on the Custom Toggle Button below to reveal a button to engage either Batman or Robin styles. Spam-click the hero's icon, observing the changes. Turn off the Custom Toggle Button and you'll return to regular 'Batcave' styles.
